UK Space Conference (UKSC) 2008 will take place on 26-29th March at Charterhouse School near Godalming, Surrey. It aims to bring together the members of the UK space community to take part in lectures, panel discussions, networking opportunities, a careers fair as well as many other events. So if you are in academia, industry or government, if you are a student or educator, or if you are simply a space enthusiast, we look forward to seeing you there!

We fly big and little rockets in the North West and meet monthly.

As you probably know, April 12 is the anniversary of Yuri Gagarin's flight into space. Each year since 2001, this has been celebrated around the globe as Yuri's Night (http://www.yurisnight.net).

This year Chris Welch has been working with stand up comedian Helen Keen and writer Mirium Underhill on a 50-minute space-themed show called "It Is Rocket Science!" for the Edinburgh Fringe in August. Before then, though, they have decided to give the show its first 'test flight' in Camden on Yuri's Night. Details are as follows:
