The promotion of safe and responsible model, high power and experimental rocketry is fundamental to the United Kingdom Rocketry Association (UKRA).
Central to these principles are the Safety Code, the demonstration of individual proficiency and the role of the Range Safety Officers (RSOs).
Information found here will assist anyone wishing to fly rockets in a safe and responsible manner.
The safety pages have two major sections:-
The 'Safety Code' page contains the full UKRA Safety Code and also a simpler and shorter version (UKRA Model Rocket Safety Code) for use by persons wishing to fly models.
The 'Safety Briefings' page contains small articles on various aspects of safety or may be RSO announcements that form part of UKRA mechanism for promoting safety and getting new safety information out to our membership.
